Montréal Métro - underground on film

Early one morning I woke up on a mission to capture some photos of the Brutalist architecture of the Montréal Métro system.

I rode the trains to a few of my favourite stations, and captured many photos, on both film & digital.
I’ve previously posted a blog with some of the digital images - This post, is to share some of the film photographs I took that morning.
I worked with a Mamiya 645 proTL medium format film camera, and expired Provia film. The Canadian Film Lab cross-processed and scanned the images for me. Cross-processing is when you intentionally use the wrong chemicals to develop the film. You end up with some interesting colour shifts, as you’ll see here. Provia is a slide film, and would normally be developed differently than regular colour negative film.
I hope you enjoy the results as much as I do.
